Tacoma Venues & Events (TVE) continues its popular SkillShops series with the upcoming workshop Sponsorship and Budgeting Strategies for Events. Held virtually on April 28 at 11 a.m., this interactive session is designed to equip event planners of all experience levels with practical tools to secure sponsorships and manage event finances efficiently and effectively.

Attendees will hear directly from sponsors and event planners about what makes a strong partnership, and learn a range of budgeting techniques to help maximize event potential while maintaining financial sustainability. Topics will include:

  • Budgeting strategies to maximize event potential

  • A walkthrough of a sample event budget template

  • Prospecting and developing sponsor partnerships

  • Tips on offsetting event costs through sponsorships

Participants will also receive a downloadable event budget worksheet to support future event planning.
